SBI2 13th Annual Conference (Boston)

SBI² 13th Annual Conference 2026
📍 Boston, MA (Renaissance Boston Seaport District) | 📅 November 2–4, 2026

pixlbio is proud to support the SBI² 13th Annual Conference, returning to Boston this November for three days of imaging, informatics, and high-content screening science.

[Flag: the Cambridge post named pixlbio as a Platinum Sponsor — I don't have that confirmed for the Boston event. Let me know the sponsorship tier and I'll drop it in, or I can leave the sponsor line out until confirmed.]

Why Attend?

This year's program features two keynote speakers:

  • Dr. Emma Lundberg (Stanford University), Director of the Cell Atlas at the Human Protein Atlas, working at the intersection of bioimaging, proteomics, and AI to map the human proteome at the cellular and subcellular level
  • Dr. Derek Lowe (Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research), longtime author of the "In the Pipeline" blog and a veteran voice on pharma drug discovery and preclinical chemistry

New this year:

  • A colloquium, "AI Today: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly," a guided discussion on the benefits and pitfalls of pattern recognition, machine learning, and large language models in imaging assays
  • The return of the Cytodata Society Hackathon, a two-day event (November 1–2) applying single-cell modeling tools to newly released morphological and transcriptional datasets, capped at 50 participants
